BAND INFO:
We are looking for a bass player and drummer,
so if you know anyone .
In the early nineties a band called SYNTAXX rocked the Syracuse music scene with a brand of original music not duplicated by others. The progressive melodies combined with a slightly heavy edge made SYNTAXX a unique entity. In 1994 a band called SMOKIN WORM came on the scene jamming from Binghamton to Oneida and all over Central New York. The WORM's cover song dominated style was perfect for the club crowds, packing bars and campuses all over Central New York. Now these two popular bands have combined to form KROMWELL.
KROMWELL entertains with ORIGINAL music plus some of the best COVER tunes being played (see a list of our SONGS). So now let us introduce you to the band...
JIM DUMEZ - LEAD AND BACKING VOCALS
Jim resides in the city of Fulton. His unique vocal sound and ability to cover a wide variety of singers and styles gives KROMWELL the final ingredient for it's sound. Jim has been performing in bands since 1984 and is a former member of SMOKIN WORM, SYNTAXX, ALTERIOR MOTIVE, and SHADOWED ANGEL.
STEVE KEMP - GUITAR, BACKING AND LEAD VOCALS
Steve is a native of Buffalo,N.Y. He's an extremely versatile rhythm guitarist who can jam with the best of them. His spine tingling vocal harmonies give KROMWELL a unique sound. His lead vocals are equally impressive. Steve also dabbles with the keyboards. He is a former member of SMOKIN WORM and ALTERIOR MOTIVE.
AARON MALONE - GUITAR
Aaron, a Fulton, N.Y. native, is one of the premier guitarists in Central New York. His lightning quick leads and crunchy yet melodic rhythm stylings give KROMWELL a sound and an edge all it's own. While not a wild showman, Aaron does some serious talking with his hands! Aaron is a former member of SMOKIN WORM and LOST CAUSE.

RICH TODERO - DRUMS
Rich, originally from Liverpool,N.Y., has been playing drums for 20 years. He brings a flash and style to the drum kit that sets him apart from most other drummers. His hard driving, double bass, rhythmic drum beats are the bedrock of the KROMWELL sound. Rich is a former member of SYNTAXX and also played in FORTRESS.
TIM TEXIDO - BASS AND BACKING VOCALS
Tim, also from Liverpool N.Y., is a flashy bassist in the style of Billy Sheehan. His pounding bass licks and high energy, hair flying stage antics are a huge part of the KROMWELL sight and sound. Tim also sings backing vocals on many tunes. Tim is a former member of SYNTAXX and spent time playing in BONTAGE and MENACE.
